For the past 30 years, Bob and Nancy have provided exclusive bookings for their friends and repeat guests at their sixteen one-bedroom, fully equipped condos at Suites Nanciana, now the boutique 5 Frogs Hotel Bucerias. Due to Nanciana’s 30+ years of devoted guest following, bookings and reservations have tended to be exclusive, with virtually no advertising or online presence. Indeed, although Nanciana is located at #70 Lazaro Cardenas, in the center of the Golden Zone and is arguably the best-known landmark building, many passersby remain unaware of the enchanting charm of its sixteen spacious suites and two swimming pools.

Starting in June 2024, a new leap will occur with the Five Frogs Hotel Bucerias operating as a year-round, 24/7 fully serviced boutique hotel. (Here’s a little insider tip: we’re on track to unveil the town’s most exciting cocktail lounge!) Guest’s lengths of stay can range from three nights to over five months—it’s up to you. Three of our rooms are designated as pet-friendly and our two swimming pools are designated as one being ‘family-friendly’ and the other ‘adult-only,’ so families can gather with grandchildren and their ‘fur babies’.

We understand that transitioning from an ‘invite-only’ haven to a boutique hotel that opens its arms to both pets and families might initially seem like a departure from tradition for some of our cherished, long-time guests. Our new ownership, however, felt a burning excitement to open its doors to any guest who would like to make the boutiqe 5 Frogs Hotel a part of their own story here in the heart of Bucerias.

The North American high season generally starts at the beginning of October and ends around the last day of May. During this time, occupancy rates are near 100%, so many guests have previously booked months or even years in advance! Our website features a new hotel reservation system with the ‘Book Now’ button, offering our guests dynamic pricing. This means ‘the longer you stay, the more you save,’ and although peak seasons will always have a higher rental rate, budget-sensitive guests can find great deals with us by adjusting their length of stay and exploring our discounted rates from June through September.
